Ampersand
0.4.2

Drag handles and dismissal for meeting recording blocks, isolated editor undo history, and frontmatter safety.

Every release

What changed

  • Meeting recording blocks now support drag handle controls, letting you reposition the recorder anywhere in your document before or during a session.
  • You can now dismiss an unstarted meeting recording block with an explicit close button, or delete it directly with Backspace or Delete. An accidental /record no longer requires starting a recording or reloading the note to clear.
  • Switching between tabs or opening a different note now properly resets the undo and redo history. An undo in a newly opened document will no longer reach back into the edits of the previous note.
  • Fixed YAML frontmatter parsing stripping note text when horizontal rules (---) were used near the top of a document. Only valid YAML metadata mappings at the start of the file are treated as frontmatter; everything else remains safely in the document body.
  • Pro subscriptions and purchases made in the iOS app can now be redeemed and activated as desktop licenses across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Ampersand updates itself in place, so you are probably already on a newer build than this one. If you are installing fresh, the download page always has the current release for macOS, Windows and Linux.
